Cheer on the World's Best Barefoot Water-Skiers at the 2006 World Championships

2006 World Barefoot Water-ski Championships Welcome to the site for the 2006 World Barefoot Water-ski Championships. This event will bring together the best water-ski in the world who will leave all the skis and wakeboards on the dock. In Adna, Washington the World Championship will be held on September 9th –17th, 2006. Lake Silverado lies an hour north of Portland Oregon and hour south of Seattle Washington. This 2675 foot lake is lined by 1400 trees and will be the longest private ski lake to have ever hosted a World Championship. Certainly it has the potential to bring out the best in every skier! "Banana" George Blair Pavilion Previewed Barefooting at the age of 91, Banana George Blair will making his mark by attending the World Championships this year. The "Banana" George Blair Pavilion was just previewed and will be filled with flags from around the world for the world Championship. When you first drive into the lake you will view the Flag Pavilion with14,410 foot Mount Rainier as back drop.
